The Village of Lakefield has several restaurants and fast food locations. All are located on Queen Street (Highway 28). There are also many other retail outlets including those that specialize in clothing, pharmacy, hardware, and groceries.
The city of Peterborough is about a 15 minute drive from Lakefield.
