Volleyball Canada Rule Changes 2009-10 School Year
Recently Volleyball Canada (VC) has made changes to their rules. There have been questions surrounding whether OFSAA will adopt these rules for the 2009-10 Girls’ and Boys’ Volleyball seasons. OFSAA will be adopting these new rule changes as the OFSAA Volleyball playing regulations state on page W-5, Section 9, Rules and Officials, “The rules of the Volleyball Canada (VC) shall govern play at the OFSAA Championship.”
Please note however, that there are exceptions to the (VC) rules that pertain to OFSAA. Please make sure that you are aware of these exceptions laid out in the OFSAA Volleyball playing regulations, which can be navigated to from the link above.
The following is a brief description of the changes. Please consult the OFSAA Volleyball playing regulations for the further explanation.
