Updated: March 9, 2010 After a successful banquet and a "surprise photo op" with the Olympic Gold Medal courtesy of Kenora's hometown hero, Mike Richards, games are well under way at the Girls' A Volleyball championship. Lots of fans are in the stands and spirits are flying high!
The championship will run Monday, March 8 - Wednesday, March 10, 2010 @ St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Kenora, Ontario. Our championship logo has been designed by Overkill. St. Thomas Aquinas HS, in conjunction with the Kenora Catholic District School Board, is proud to be hosting the OFSAA Girls 'A' Volleyball Championships. This is the sixth time that an event of this magnitude has been hosted by our school as we have previously hosted the following OFSAA Championships:
Hosting OFSAA is a tremendous honour for St. Thomas Aquinas HS, the Kenora Catholic District School Board and the City of Kenora. We wish all teams the best throughout their season and look forward to meeting the victorious teams in March, 2010! Please take pictures throughout your season so you can send them to us and we can use them in our slideshow at the banquet! PLEASE NOTE THERE WERE A NUMBER OF CHANGES MADE TO THE VOLLEYBALL CANADA RULES. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAREFULLY READ THE NEW RULES, AS THEY WILL BE USED AT THE 2010 OFSAA GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.
