With the debut of the Alpha football as the official ball of the OFSAA Football Bowls Spalding has recommitted to keeping football safe in Ontario schools.
Bridging the gap from the Keeping Football Safe contest, OFSAA and Spalding are happy to announce a new initiative with the same focus to benefit teacher-coaches and football programs across the province.
Newly mandated OPHEA safety guidelines require one coach per team to have completed the NCCP Safe Contact course.
Teacher-coaches who have funded and successfully completed the course any time in the 2016-17 school year can apply for reimbursement below. You must also submit appropriate receipt of your course registration to firstname.lastname@example.org. Up to 100 will qualify.
From those successful applicants OFSAA will draw three winners who each receive $1500 product credit from Spalding. An additional 40 winners will receive a new Spalding Alpha football, official football of OFSAA.
Applications will be accepted until May 1st, 2017
