The 2018 OFSAA Girls 'A' Basketball Championship banquet will be held on Thursday November 22nd at the Best Western North Bay Hotel & Conference Centre.
There will be a reception starting at 6:00PM and dinner will be served at 6:30PM. This is a formal event therefore we ask that athletes, coaches and banquet attendees dress appropriately.

Mark Bruner (Ph.D.) is a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Youth Development through Sport and Physical Activity and an Associate Professor in the School of Physical and Health Education at Nipissing University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Saskatchewan and completed his postdoctoral training at Queen’s University. His research program, which is funded by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), investigates group dynamics and psychosocial development in youth sport and physical activity settings. He has published research in leading journals in group dynamics (e.g., Group Dynamics: Theory, Research & Practice), sport and exercise psychology (e.g., Psychology of Sport and Exercise), and adolescence (e.g., Journal of Youth and Adolescence). Dr. Bruner is a past exercise psychology consultant for the Canadian Armed Forces, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and a sport psychology consultant with elite youth and university sport teams. He is also an active review board member for The Sport Psychologist, and a learning facilitator for the Coaching Association of Canada.
