  • Semi-formal (dress casual) attire is required
  • No person shall wear jeans, shorts, tank tops or a hat
  • Should there be an instance of improper attire, the competition committee shall deal with the matter and forward a copy to the OFSAA Board of Reference – Sanctions

GUEST SPEAKER:

Jackie Jarrell grew up in Belleville on her family dairy farm, RJ Farms. She had a full
NCAA Division 1 Ice Hockey Scholarship to Mercyhurst University earning a Bachelor of Science
degree in Sports Medicine and master’s degree in Exercise Science. During her time there, she
won 4 straight regular season and playoff College Hockey America Championships and made 3
NCAA appearances. She is Team Canada’s Inline Hockey Captain and has played for Team
Canada in 12 World Championships. She is a 2X World Champion and has won 10 World
Championship Medals (2 Gold,6 Silver, 2 Bronze Medals). In 2012, she led the World
Championships in scoring and was named the Top Player in the World.
Professionally, she is the Owner of Gold Performance Training facility where she works
as a Registered Kinesiologist & Strength & Conditioning Coach. She is one of ten women from
across Canada who is a Certified Hockey Canada Skills Coach. During the 2022-2023 hockey
season, she signed her first NHL Contract before being promoted to a full-time NHL position.
She is currently the Director of Fitness and Training of the National Hockey League Officiating
Department where she leads a team of 100 men. This position makes her one of the first
females ever, to have a full-time fitness position in the NHL
