Rowan’s Law Day Is September 25th

Sep 23, 2024 | Concussion, Rowan's Law Day, Sport Campaigns, Wellness

This year marks the sixth anniversary of the implementation of Rowan’s Law.

September 25th is Rowan’s Law Day in memory of Rowan Stringer, a 17-year old athlete who died from second impact syndrome due to multiple concussions while playing high school rugby.

Ontario is an international leader in concussion safety.

Learn about the signs and symptoms of concussions and help students to speak up about concussions.

Let’s get #RowansLawDay trending on September 25th. The more #RowansLawDay trends, the more awareness we’ll generate about the importance of concussion safety.

Schools and classrooms are encouraged to take advantage of the Rowan’s Law Day Toolkit HERE.
