Teachers: Get Into The Spirit Of The Olympics!

Jan 6, 2022 | Uncategorized

As the excitement for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games begins to build across the country and children are introduced to the inspiring stories of perseverance and teamwork by Team Canada’s athletes, the Canadian Olympic School Program is pleased to provide teachers with a free and engaging educational resource: Be Olympic 2022!

Be Olympic 2022 offers students the opportunity to learn alongside athlete ambassadors Mikaël Kingsbury and Cynthia Appiah, as well as ten other Team Canada Olympic hopefuls. This resource includes athlete stories, learning activities, short S.T.E.M. articles, trivia questions, and physical activities, turning the Olympic Winter Games into a learning experience for all.

The Olympic Winter Games are a special teachable moment that occurs only once every four years and we don’t want teachers to miss out on this incredible opportunity.

OFSAA is pleased to share the Canadian Olympic School Program’s Be Olympic 2022 series with Ontario teachers so that every student can get into the spirit of the Olympic Games.
